There are too many young Victorians who are homeless, living without shelter or a place to call home, and the unmet demand for services is increasing.
Over 6,000 young people are forced to either ‘couch surf’ or ‘sleep rough’ every night in Victoria. Homelessness is one of the most severe forms of disadvantage and social exclusion that any person can experience.
It is a frightening and traumatic experience for young people, and has a direct adverse effect on their health and well being. Sleep at the 'G is your opportunity to do something about this crisis. Get a team together and join more than 1,000 other compassionate people for a fun night at the iconic MCG.
Sleep on a cardboard box in solidarity with young people experiencing homelessness and raise vital funds to support Melbourne City Mission's life changing work.
We're on a mission - let's put youth homelessness to bed.
